Visit to the River Tyne

As part of their Science topic 'Water', Tiger Class travelled to see the River Tyne in Newcastle. 

The pupils enjoyed a lovely walk along the Newcastle side of the river, and they found that the river flows into the North Sea. They then walked over the Millennium Bridge to the Gateshead Quays. There were lots of boats on the river and they discovered otters and water voles live in the river.
