Outreach Offer

Our mission is to support young people, to achieve success in all aspects of their education, by working together.

As a school, we recognise the significance of supporting learners with SEND, and that responsibility does not just end at our school. Therefore, we have created an Outreach offer which can be accessed by education professionals to support learners within their settings.

Our offer provides collaborative working with our experienced staff team, to provide high quality training, individualised support plans, and targeted interventions across Sunderland and the wider area. Please do not hesitate to get in touch to discuss further; if you require something more bespoke, we are happy to discuss this and create a plan that suits your needs.

Elements of the Outreach offer include:

• Outreach support for autistic pupils
• Autism training for mainstream staff
• SENCo and staff support for EHCP and SEN pupils
• Support for setting up ASC environments in mainstream schools
• Support to adjust, develop and improve school curriculums to meet the needs of pupils with SEND

 Upcoming opportunities:

• Local authority consultation service
• Family training, including training for understanding ASC, communication, learning disabilities, PDA
• Family support including for EHCPs and reviews
