Science Week

Pupils at Harry Watts Academy enjoyed British Science Week, which had the theme of ‘Change and Adapt’. A great range of activities were enjoyed in Explore, Engage and Discover pathways including: making bird feeders, making playdough, looking at organs, exploring circuits, camouflage in animals and observing changes in mixtures. 

The pupils used so many scientific skills during the week, and some were supported in thinking about careers that would use these skills.
