Blue Class Making Bird Feeders

This week Blue Class have been making bird feeders throughout the week. We had to split the process over two days to complete the experiment. During the first step we collected some sticks from the Forest School area we then used the hole punch to make six holes in our toilet roll tube. Children inserted the sticks and a string. The second step consisted spreading the lard and sticking the bird seeds.

Finally, we placed the bird feeders on the trees in our Forest School area and we will check to see if the birds are pecking at our seeds.
