Willow Class Enjoy a Trip to Roker

Last week, Willow Class had a trip to Roker to look at different pulley machines. We walked along the river to check out the different cranes, the sizes the different designs and their uses. There were cranes on land and boats, which tied in with our Science theme this term. After we looked at the cranes, we went to the Glass Centre to watch a glass-blowing demonstration. The pupils were fascinated by this. We finished the day by walking to the sea front to get some chips for lunch.
