Polar Explorers in Blue Class

This half term we will be learning about Polar Explorers. Children have been exploring different items related to this topic.

In our Topic session, we carried out the polar bear experiment where we learning how the polar bear and other arctic animals protect themselves with their blubber.

Children used lard, zippy bags, bowls, ice and water. They loved to feel the difference between both hands.

They then were able to make a list of the items they used for their experiment. They did lovely informative writing.
