Cedar Class Put their Own Autumn Twist on their Inspired Work by Yayoi Kusama!

On Friday 11th October, Cedar Class completed their final piece of work inspired by the artist Yayoi Kusama. Each student used their own ideas of the dotty pattern to create a background for their pumpkins.

We found out that pumpkins were an important motif in Yayoi's work, a fascination that extends from the artist's youth during the years of World War Two.

The end result was fantastic and we have definitely enjoyed completing this task over the last 6 weeks. Well done Cedar Class!
