Our school transport for pupils is operated through Together for Children Sunderland, who deliver children’s services on behalf of Sunderland City Council. Managing Special Educational Needs (SEN) transport for Harry Watts Academy, they provide high level of standards and safety for the children transported.
All pupils with an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) will have a consideration for transport, and those living over 2 miles (Primary) or 3 miles (Secondary) from the school will be provided with transport in the form of a minibus or external taxi.
Please see the SEN Home to School Transport page on Sunderland Information Point for more details on Together for Children and their policies.
