Amazon Wish List
We are regularly asked by parents, carers, grandparents and friends of Harry Watts Academy as to how you can support the school to continue to provide a rich, wide-ranging curriculum and a high standard of education. We have carefully selected some items ranging from generic classroom resources, sensory items and books for our new school library.
If you would like, and are able, to support the school and your child’s education, please buy one of the items on our Amazon Wish List below. This will arrive at school a few days later and be added our resources.
Exempt Charity Status
At Harry Watts Academy, we have ‘Exempt charity status’. This means that the school or academy trust cannot register with the Charity Commission but they remain subject to and must comply with charity law. Schools and academy trusts have the Secretary of State for Education as their principal regulator. A memorandum of understanding is in place between the Charity Commission and the Secretary of State to assist with regulation.
