Making a Birthday Cake in Red Class

This half term our Topic is ‘See the Light’ and we are looking at different types of celebrations. This week we have been looking at birthday celebrations. We started by looking at photographs of our own birthday celebrations. Afterwards, we all worked together to mix the ingredients together to make our very own birthday cake. We worked as a team and we were so sensible when we went to the cookery room to put the cake in the oven. Once it was baked we had a great time icing our little cupcakes and decorating our big cake. Our favourite part was defiantly eating the icing!
