SAFC v Oxford!

On Saturday, a group of Explore and Discover students attended the SAFC v Oxford game at the Stadium of Light. We were able to practise waving our flags on the pitch before the fans arrived and then we headed over to the Beacon of Light to play some football with our friends. When we arrived back at the Stadium of Light, we were able to meet SAFC’s very own mascot, Delilah (Louise was very excited!) and then headed to the pitch to wave our flags as the players ran on the pitch! Thankfully, we also won 2-0 with our pupils having some fantastic goal celebrations!
