Origami Boats in Pine Class!

We’ve been creating origami boats in English through inspiration from our novel this term: ‘The Firework-Maker’s Daughter’. In our book, we have read about the characters Chulak and Hamlet who created origami boats. They then placed them on the river to make a wish to the Goddess from the lake during the full moon party. We each followed the instructions carefully, then took out our boats to the puddles on our yard to see if they voted. We then had a class discussion on what we would wish for if we were in the book.
