Harry Watts Academy Celebrate National Non-Speaking/Non-Verbal Awareness Day

Monday 30th September is National Non-Speaking/Non-Verbal Awareness Day. This day raises awareness of the importance of understanding, inclusion, and the need for accessible communication methods for those who cannot speak verbally. At Harry Watts Academy, we celebrate all forms of communication for our pupils throughout the school, including Makaton, symbol use, and communication boards.
